I'm back! It's been over a year, but I have decided to rejoin the blog world.
A lot has happened since I last blogged.
Natalia is now THREE! Yes, three. Where has time gone? I no longer have a baby, she is now a big girl, with her own little personality, and boy does she have a strong one!
Natalia is now in pre-pre-K. She is at a wonderful school here in our condominium. Yes, condominium. I told you, a lot has changed! We are now out of the "country" and settled into the capital of Puerto Rico, San Juan.
The move was tough, since I did it pretty much on my own. It was hard moving Natalia an hour and a half away from the only family she knows, but 5 months later I see the light at the end of the tunnel. The move was the best decision for both of us.
I spent 3 months traveling from our prior home in Barranquitas to my new job in San Juan and the commute was KILLING me. I would spend a total of 4 hours in car, not to mention I would wake up before the sun came out, and arrive home when the sun had set. I barely got to spend time with Natalia, since my dad would wake her up and take her to school, and her paternal grandfather would pick her up from school. By the time I picked her up, I was DONE, and just wanted to bathe and go to sleep.
My commute now has diminished to approximately 3 minutes, since my office is less than a mile away from our apartment. You can imagine how happy and THANKFUL I am! Also, as I mentioned, Natalia's school is on the first floor of our building. She has learned SO much and absoultely LOVES it. Her teachers are amazing, patient, and so loving. Again, I am SO THANKFUL.
I am also most thankful for my new job. I am currently directing the Clinical Research Department at Metropolitan Oncology Center. As the company name states, we are an Oncology Center dedicated to treating cancer-hematology patients here in Puerto Rico. We also test chemotherpies on patients for the efficacy and safety. I am SOOOOO in love with what I do, and am SO THANKFUL that God has put me in this place. I actually enjoy waking up everday and coming into work. Soon I will dedicate a full blog post to my job, so you can get an idea of why I love it so much.
I wanted to kick my new blog off with this quick catch-up. I will continue to update about our lives, work, family, etc.
But mostly I just wanted to have on record how THANKFUL I am for all the changes that have occured in our lives in the past year and a half. :-) Thanks to all who have made these changes possible.
